Magna Cosma uses PlantWatch for plant-wide serialized traceability across their automotive component manufacturing facility. The system tracks parts from raw material through X-Ray inspection, heat treatment, and final assembly — providing a complete process genealogy for every serialized component.

Results
Magna Cosma can now trace any finished part back through every manufacturing step — including the exact X-Ray images, furnace temperatures, and cycle times associated with that serial number. This level of genealogy supports both OEM customer requirements and rapid containment when quality issues arise.
