Overview
Cummins Jamestown Engine Plant has been running PlantWatch since 2012 and has expanded to 9 separate deployments across their facility. The system provides serialized fuel injector traceability by marrying component serial numbers to engine serial numbers throughout the assembly process.

Results
The deployment eliminated manual data entry errors and reduced defective product escapes by providing real-time genealogy tracking. Cummins can now trace any fuel injector back to its source lot, supplier, and the exact assembly parameters recorded during build — enabling rapid quarantine and recall when needed.
